If this is to be believed, it's ridiculous.
Not from the sense of entitlement, for which I am no longer surprised. It's more that this causes the developer (the person working on the new features) busy spending time figuring out what is happening with the server.
It would have made more sense to spend time creating a website full of material on how awesome Minecraft is and how much you'd like to see the new update. Granted, we are dealing with children (at least mentally). Children to like breaking things more than building them.
