I thoroughly enjoyed this talk, because it was a real firehose of information, and we got to go through one demo right after another, for a total of 8 code demos. Unfortunately, 10 demos were planned, but there just wasn't enough time to jam them all in. What I took home from this talk was that there's a lot of new stuff in SharePoint 2010 that we're going to have to learn as developers, such as CAML, visual web parts (although that's really more of an easier-to-use version of existing web parts), and interacting with the SharePoint ribbon. Of course, it's not all learning curve that we have to look forward to, because there are so many improvements in visual studio and other tools to help us.
