Unfortunately, the presentation was rather dull. However, the content of the presentation was actually quite exciting! Microsoft has transformed Business Data Catalog (BDC) into a much better set of Business Connectivity Services (BCS). Not only will the services be part of SharePoint 2010 Foundation, but we now have a great set of tools for BCS in SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio 2010! There's a whole lot of terminology and concepts to learn about, so don't miss this video if you're involved in BDC.
